Read to Grow will give the tools needed by a child to read God’s story written in the Bible. It’s not only to teach reading and writing. It is not just giving books to schools or communities.  Through Read to Grow, we desire that the children will develop critical minds, that they will get to know God’s story written in the Bible.  

Read to Grow Impact

1. Reaching to approximately 1,250 children a week teach reading and writing, at the end of the day we serve nutritious meals. We have 200 volunteers involved in teaching and cooking in 25 RTG Hubs.

2. Back to School Distribution. Distribution of 500 tote bags for RTG children for their school bags. School supplies will also be included.

Read to Grow Ripples

1. Child Education Care program started in March 2023. This is to provide education assistance to RTG children of single parent who are currently enrolled in school. As of August 2023 we have 25 children who will receive $10 each month for their school needs like school uniform, shoes, and school supplies.

2. RTG Workshop in Metro Manila this August 2023. The 33 attendees learned the easy and practical ways to teach a child to read a book. We are praying for 5 possible new RTG hubs to start soon.
