Give the Hope of Reading

Give the Hope of Reading (Read to Grow) For the first time, Read to Grow literacy project has been extended to our ministry partners in Greater Manila.  Our resource person from Bacolod City, a public school teacher for 20 years, together with her pastor husband were gracious to facilitate the workshop.  Attended by 30 individuals, everyone was excited to apply what they have learned. We have a new initiative at RTG in partnership with Samaritana. Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of children (OSAEC) will be included in our curriculum. We will use a comic book to be introduced to our RTG communities in partnership with My Children’s House of Hope Bahay Bata 127. Thank you for the 1,000 copies of the comic book. We deem this necessary as the Philippines has been named as the number 2 country in the world where cybersex crime is mostly perpetuated.  The common victims are innocent children who live in underserved communities.
