Give the Hope of Education

Give the Hope of Education –  MEANS has also started Child Education Care.  The recipients are children who are either abandoned by one of the parents, children who are given away to their grandparents to take care of, and those whose parents are unemployed or underemployed.  School supplies and basic personal needs are given to them every month.

MEANS has also added more college students to our list of scholars.  Those who will qualify are students who will pursue higher education to become school teachers.  Majority of them are enrolled at one of the best schools for teachers:  the Philippine Normal University which has campuses in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.  This requirement is in congruent to our vision of improving literacy in the Philippines.

According to a recent World Bank Statistics   learning poverty in the Philippines is high.  Our dream is for   our scholars who are all followers of Jesus Christ to contribute to the betterment of the Philippine educational system through their dedication and excellent teaching.  We are proud to say that all of our senior students from PNU graduated his year with  Latin honors (magna cum laude and cum laude). We have 16 college students and 30 in high school and grammar levels.  $50 for college students; $10 for grammar levels.
