What: Read To Grow -OSAEC Awareness Workshop

When: March 2,2024 – Saturday; 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: Nolido Retreat Place, Bacolod  City, Negros Occidental, Philippines

Facilitators:  Ms. Ann Rutor, Department of Education Teacher at F.F.  Gonzaga Elementary School and   Pastor Francis Alquizar of the Church of Nazarene in Mindanao.

The objectives of our RTG-OSAEC Awareness Campaign are:

1.  To protect RTG communities against OSAEC.

2.  To provide information about OSAEC for RTG teachers, children, and parents.

3.  To integrate a practical Anti-OSAEC Awareness Campaign into RTG program.

The workshop will tackle such questions as:

• What is my role in the community I serve?
• What are the practical ways I can do as a Christian to help in my community?

In answer to these questions,  God has provided a comic book in Tagalog which will be presented at the workshop.  Ms.  Ann Rutor, workshop facilitator, will challenge participants on how the comic book can be used during RTG literacy classes.  Praise God for providing for free about 500 copies through a missionary pastor who is also using the comics for his ministry in Greater Manila area.
