MEANS Graduates Stories

Below are some of what they shared to us when they heard about the good news of graduating with honors.

Angelie Toque shared: “It has truly been a blessing to know MEANS and to be one of your scholars. Your generosity has lightened my financial burden, allowing me to focus on my studies. Because of your support, I never had to choose between classes and campus involvement, I was able to grow academically while serving in our campus ministry and volunteering for the community Read to Grow Literacy Classes.  Those experiences enriched my college journey far beyond the 4 corners of the classroom. Your trust in us, prayers, and your genuine care were felt in this journey. I am privileged to be part of this family, and I promise not to let your support go in vain. Today, as I prepare for our graduation, my heart overflows with gratitude.

I can’t believe that I’ll attain this award and the rank I’m in, but I am happy to share that it is the fruit of all your prayers and love for us.  I dedicate these honor, first to God, then, to you.  “

Angela A. Alontaga wrote: “It has been years since I became a MEANS scholar. It has helped me since day one, from buying important school supplies that I was able to use for my studies and school requirements.    Thank you for your prayers, love and support that gave me strength and helped me a lot in this rollercoaster journey. Among my 7 siblings, I am the only one who is able to finish college.  I have been given enough opportunity to continue my studies, and I am proud to say that I have done my best. I thank God that I was not alone in achieving my dreams; I have my family, friends, and you, (MEANS), who supported and helped me. I am happy to celebrate this success with you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be one of your scholars, and thank you for your prayers. May the Lord continue to bless you and this initiative of supporting needy students like me.”

College Education Care – is a ministry project of MEANS. As of August 2025 – We have 20 college student scholarships. We provide $50 allowance per month for their school needs.
