1. Solar lights – MEANS distributed 450 units of solar lights. Electricity is limited in some areas affected by earthquake and flood in Cebu
2. Rice – MEANS gave 200 bags of rice at 10 pounds each bag for Cebu earthquake survivors. This December, another 200 bags of rice will be given to families affected by Typhoon Fung Wong (Uwan). Cost is $ 5 per bag
3. Psychosocial and trauma counseling session with professional counselors-
Crayons, coloring books and hot meals for the children while they attended the small groups post trauma sessions. 285 stuffed animals were given to the children to hug when they feel afraid, sad or lonely – Cost of stuffed toys – $1 each
4. Installation of water filter – the installation of the 10 water drum with water filters is moved to January 2026 due to unpredictable typhoons. We instead provided 80 bottled water. Each bottle contains ten gallons of water.
5. Flip-flops distribution – Protecting children’s feet are usually neglected by relief workers because most of the primary needs are met first before other things. Our goal is to purchase 500 pairs. Cost is $1 a pair.
