President’s Report

1. Read to Grow (RTG) – teach children literacy serve nutritious meals

  • Number of RTG Centers –  12 in Negros; 1 in Leyte, 4 in Metro Manila
  • Number of children – average of 1,000 a week

2. Rice Bucket – provide sack of rice (50 pounds) to communities

  • Elpis Ministries (NGO helping Burmese children at risk for slave labor and sex traffick) in Maesot, Thailand, – 6 sacks each month
  • Disaster Relief – Earthquake in Cebu – 500 bags of rice at 10 lbs each bag
  • Disaster Relief – Kanlaon Volcano eruption; floods in Cebu and Bacolod
  • Total number of bags of rice distributed – 1,000 bags of rice

3. Serve a meal – through simple act of kindness we distributed packs of groceries for needy families. This year we incorporated hot meals to our RTG classes. Served at least 1,000 meals each week  

4. Prison Visit – to bring the Christmas spirit to prison institutions

  • Number of Prison Visits – 16 institutions in provinces in the Philippines
  • Number of estimated inmates we have served – 2,000 inmates
  • Provided 20 Christmas packs ($10 each) – to families of inmates in Ormoc City, Leyte Philippines (we want to continue this on 2026)

5. Child Education Care – to provide funds for school supplies  

  • Children – 50 children from Negros Occidental – $10 monthly allowance
  • College – 15 college students – $50 monthly allowance

6. Disaster Relief Recovery – to provide help at the soonest

  • Solar Lights – 450 units
  • Rice – 500 bags at 10 pounds each
  • Stuffed toys for children survivors – 300 toys
  • Flip-flops – 500 pairs
  • Drinking Water – 100 jars of 10 gallons each
  • January 2026 – will install 10 portable drums with water filter
