Greetings in Jesus Christ our Lord! Observing the season of Lent, meditating on the life of Jesus Christ and his sufferings on the cross, help us to remember what great thing God has done for us. Jesus Christ rising from the dead has given us hope that the God we believe in is Lord of ALL.
The Apostle Paul said in Philippians, “Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11 (ESV).
Knowing that we have a Lord, who not only loves us so much, but who has conquered death gives us the confidence that, there is ONE who will never leave us nor forsake us, but will lead us in triumph in our life and ministry journey.
This year, MEANS has added a new initiative to help the needy. A ripple effect of MEANS Read to Grow is MEANS Child Education Care Program. It aims to support the education of children of RTG volunteers. We found out that some of them have been abandoned either by their wives or husbands, some are jobless and have difficulty making ends meet. However, these volunteer parents have been faithful in serving the Lord through the Read to Grow ministry. Therefore, it challenges us to help them in sending their children to school.
Please pray for wisdom and guidance in this new initiative. We thank you for coming alongside with us through these years. You have given us hope as we rely on the GRACE of God to provide for this cause.
Our prayers are with you. A blessed Resurrection Day!
